My Story

Where I wasI burned the past five years pursuing the wrong it and doing work I hated.I failed at multiple ventures.I felt incredibly lost, anxious, and distracted.I rejected my soul.Maybe you can relate.Maybe you're feeling that way right now.Where I'm atI'm pursuing my life's work and loving every minute of the journey.I feel incredibly fulfilled and blessed to give my greatest gifts to the world.I feel focused, confident in my direction, and life just seems to flow. But it wasn't always that way.Making a ChangeIn March 2024, I burnt out. Hard.I quit my job and the startups I was working on and left the industry altogether.Introspection and Self-DiscoveryLeading up to quitting my job, I spent the first 3 months of 2024 asking myself introspective questions and discovering what I wanted in life.I dug deep.I asked myself numerous introspective questions, such asWhat do I want to contribute to this world? What does a successful life look like for me?What is most important in my life? What do I value most? What am I most passionate about?I wrote everything I could think of that made me happy (and unhappy) in my entire past and connected that with my ideas and actions in the past.I defined and crafted my life statement and mission statement.I created an entire life plan.At the end, I noticed a common theme and crafted my life path to materialize my life and mission statement.Months of introspection, reflections, and journalingThis process of self-discovery was the most transformative period of my life.I believe one of the most rewarding things in life is get to know yourself on a deeper level and discover your life path.Awareness of DistractionsThroughout this process, I became aware of all my distractions and vices and wrote them down on paper.I realized I had so many distractions that were preventing me from finding my path, discovering what I really wanted in life, and building that life.Elimination of DistractionsOne by one, I started to eliminate them from my life. I removed distractions, such as:- Phone
- Texting
- YouTube
- Dating apps
- Social media
Everything Coming TogetherFor the first time in my life, I was truly able to find my thing, focus on it, and flow in life. After months of introspection, reflection, self-discovery, removing distractions, gaining clarity, and seeing a viable way forward, I found my mission and life's work.Find your thing. Focus on it. Flow in life.— Ash 🌊
